3 - Egyptian Music Styles for Bellydancers

Recognise the style of music and it's context to create a more authentic feel.

Recognising Egyptian styles gives you the confidence to choose the right music for your dance. We give you video clips and sound clips to help you recognise your styles. It is best if you have already completed the Rhythms and Instruments courses before you attempt this as recognising rhythms and instruments can help you place the style.

We cover the styles mainly referenced by bellydancers though this is not comprehensive as there are many folklore traditions within Egypt.
